My Top 100 Tracks of 2010 by My iTunes Playcount

Well, it is taking me a while to actually write my post for my favorite albums of 2010. Call it laziness, apathy, or a new year’s resolution to use the computer less, but whatever the case, it will be finished. In the meantime, I stumbled onto a post by Edgar Wright, the director of such films as Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and he had an interesting idea. Rather than write a long post about one’s favorite albums or songs, why not just post the top 100 tracks from one’s iTunes account. It is a very revealing and honest way to show people what music one considers re-playable. There is a level of inaccuracy to my list, mainly because I had to reformat my harddrive in the middle of 2010, so there are a lot of plays missing from some key artists, like the Gorillaz and The National. But these things happen, so I won’t fret any longer. So, without further ado, here are my top 100 tracks of 2010 by my iTunes playcount:
